President’s Award of Achievement — This award is given to administrators and faculty who provide exemplary work on behalf of the College. Recipients are chosen by 91ºÚÁÏÍø President, Alex Johnson, Ph.D.

Professional Excellence Award — Was instituted in 1985 to recognize full-time, non-faculty employees who have contributed to 91ºÚÁÏÍø through their significant and outstanding achievements.

Teaching Excellence Award in Honor of Ralph M. Besse — Recognizes faculty College-wide for their commitment to academic integrity, stimulation of intellectual development and investment in students within and beyond the classroom. The award is given in honor of Ralph M Besse, a Cleveland community leader and champion of higher education, who was instrumental in funding 91ºÚÁÏÍø.

Innovation of the Year Award — Sponsored by The League of Innovation in the Community College, a consortium of prominent college districts dedicated to innovation, experimentation and evaluation in all areas of community college development.

Individual Accomplishments and Awards — Each year, employees from all units of the College are recognized for academic achievement, including earning advanced degrees, publishing or showing art at a juried show and election to regional or national offices.

Service Recognition — Employees are recognized for their years of service in five year increments.
